Twelve Knitted Sweaters by Marianne Isager

Twelve Knitted Sweaters from Tversted’ is a beautiful knitting book with a sweater for each month of the year. All designs are inspired by the nature around the village ‘Tversted’ in the Northern part of Jutland. Marianne’s japanese friend and artist, Kazuyo Imai has beautifully illustrated the book.
Marianne takes us through the four seasons with a stylish sweater for each month of the year using her own line of signature yarns to showcase many techniques, including color, texture, lace and modular knitting. Poems set the mood for each month while the watercolor paintings of Kazuyo Imai gently lull us through each season’s changing moods.
