Learn To Knit (June/July 2022)

Knits and Pieces offers semi-private Learn to Knit sessions. Structured in some ways like the classes in the past - but with new procedures in place to keep the students and instructor Covid-19 safe.


All classes will be held when the shop is not open. There will be no other individuals in the shop aside from the class participants and instructor.


The class size will be limited to 4 individuals, and they will be spaced at least 6 feet apart.


Beginning Knitting Classes are comprised of 3 - 90 minute sessions. Students will learn the fundamental knitting skills - casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, and casting off stitches - while completing a washcloth. Using those skills, they will start a second project (a hat or a cowl) with the guidance of the instructor.

Time:  Tuesday mornings, 10:00 - 11:30am, June 28, July 5 & 12

 

Classes are limited to 4 students. Supplies needed include DK/Worsted weight yarn, and knitting needles (not included in class price)
