This three-session workshop guides you through knitting your very first wearable garment — the Sabai Top by Susanne Müller, a beautifully simple and elegant tee perfect for first-time garment knitters.

Over three sessions, you'll learn how to read a garment pattern, swatch for gauge, choose the right size, make subtle adjustments in process to ensure the best fit, and finish your piece like a pro. You'll leave with a wearable top and the confidence to tackle the next garment pattern that catches your eye.

Prerequisite Skills: Casting on and off, knitting and purling

Materials Required: 

  • Worsted weight yarn

  • US size 6 knitting needles 32” or 40”

  • Stitch markers, scissors, tape measure, tapestry needle
