Colorwork has a way of looking intimidating — but once you learn the basics, it's one of the most satisfying techniques in knitting. In this two-session workshop, you'll learn everything you need to knit your first stranded colorwork project using the Fleet Hat pattern by Tin Can Knits, a classic and beginner-friendly design that's perfect for learning the craft.
You'll discover how to work with two strands of yarn at once, understand color dominance, read a colorwork chart, and choose colors that make your pattern really pop. Mini skeins for the colorwork section will be provided, so all you need to bring is your main color yarn. By the end of the second session you'll have a finished, blocked hat complete with a pompom — and the skills to confidently tackle any colorwork pattern in your queue.
