Beginner Sweater Knitting - Tincan Knits Flax Sweater

Sundays, September 27th, October 4th, 11th and 18th; 1-2:30PM

Ready to take the leap from small projects to your first sweater? In this class, we’ll knit the classic Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits, a beginner-friendly design worked in worsted-weight yarn. You’ll learn the skills needed to make a sweater from start to finish, including choosing the correct size to make, pattern reading, seamless construction, shaping, and finishing. With its gender neutral design, and the wide range of sizes availble, this classic sweater pattern is one you will want to make several times!  

Materials needed:  Worsted/Aran weight yarn, sizes US 6 and 8 circular knitting needles, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.  The pattern will be provided in class.
