Amigirumi Animals to Crochet

Cost: $89 for 3 Weekly Sessions

In this fun, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to crochet small stuffed figures in the round, including magic ring, increases and decreases, shaping, and simple finishing techniques.  Designed for the adult maker (18+), students can choose from a selection of different small stuffed animals to create for themselves.

Skill Requirements:  Students should be comfortable with the chain, slip, single crochet stitches.  They also need to be comfortable with either the magic loop or magic circle.  You can practice this before class with this tutorial as a guide:  https://www.wikihow.com/Crochet-a-Magic-Ring.

Materials Required:

-Patterns or kits
     -Toft kit, level 1 or 2
     -Ricorumi booklet of patterns
     -Yarn Cake Amigirumi patterns
-Yarn to complete the pattern
-crochet hooks of various sizes
-removable stitch markers, scissors, highlighter tape, and a darning needle
-stuffing (provided in class)
