Isager Silk Mohair

This 75/25 super-kid mohair and silk blend adds instant luxury — soft halo, delicate shine and beautiful drape. Use it solo for an ethereal layer or strand it to soften edges and enrich color in other yarns. Like all brushed mohairs, it may shed at first, but the long staple length keeps this to a minimum over time.

The gauge that we’ve listed is what is provided by the manufacturer.  However, like all yarns with a halo (fuzzy) effect, this yarn can be knit up in several gauges, and can also be held with another yarn while knit.

Fiber Content: 75% super kid mohair and 25% silk

Yardage:  230 yards per 25-gram ball

Gauge:  Fingering; 16-18 stitches on size US 6(4mm) to 8(5mm) knitting needles
