This lovely knitted piece provides an advanced beginner knitter with many learning opportunities - beginning with the Garter Tab Cast-on, basic cables and eyelet, and ending with a picot bind off edge.
Participants should come to class with a firm grasp of basic knitting skills - knit and purl stitches and basic increasing. New techniques will be first taught on scrap yarn and then applied to the actual project.
Dates: Mondays, January 17 and 24th
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Price: $80 - includes the cost of the pattern, which will be provided by hard copy and digitally in each student's Ravelry account.
Materials: 325 yards of worsted weight yarn; US 8 32" knitting needle; scrap yarn for practice swatch.
All classes will be held when the shop is not open. There will be no other individuals in the shop aside from the class participants and instructor.
The class size will be limited to 4 individuals, and they will be spaced at least 6 feet apart.
Masks must be worn at all times during class.
