First Sweater: Cozy Knits Design's "Easy Street T"

Ready to take the leap from accessories to garments? In this First Sweater class, we’ll guide you step by step through the process of creating a wearable sweater you’ll be proud to show off.  Designed with newer garment knitters in mind, this class will cover everything from choosing the right size and reading a sweater pattern to shaping, simple finishing techniques, and assembling your finished piece.  Along the way, you’ll build confidence with essential skills and discover that sweater knitting is far more approachable than it seems. 

Prerequisite Skills: Casting on, knit and purl stitches

Materials Required: 

• Worsted weight yarn
• US size 6 and 7 circular knitting needles, 24"and 32" (to fit Gauge)
• A copy of Cozy Knits Designs "Easy Street T" pattern
• Stitch markers, scissors, tape measure, tapestry needle
