Two Color Brioche
Do you look at two-color (or three-color or more) brioche patterns and think, “I wish I could do that”? Well, you can! Learn to master the basic brioche skills to start creating your own visual and textural masterpieces.
In this two-session class, we’ll explore knitting two-color brioche, and dive into a brioche cowl/infinity scarf. Students will choose from three cowl options – ranging from a straightforward two-color cowl to options with more design details.
Students will first use scrap yarn to practice the basic techniques before we cast on our projects.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS:
This class is for knitters who are at least advanced beginners. Students must be confident to knit, purl, cast on, cast off and have basic pattern reading skills. Experience with single-color brioche knitting is helpful, but not necessary.
Instructor: Sue Santa
Cost: $80 (does not include project patterns as each student will select her/his own. The Instructor will have several free patterns among the recommendations.)
